About Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP)

A pre-measured liner is delivered in a refrigerated truck and inserted through a tall tower approximately 15 – 20 ft high into the existing pipeline through the recently excavated access pits.  After the liner has been inserted, it is filled with water heated to a certain temperature and cured for approximately 36 hours. When fully cured, the liner now acts as the new pipeline. Once the CIPP operation begins, it cannot be stopped until completed, thus requiring the 24/7 continuous work. Crews will be onsite for monitoring throughout the entire process.
