The Orange County Sanitation District’s Board of Directors approved the second year of a two-year budget at the June 28 Board Meeting. The budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 was approved at $487 million to support the Capital Improvement Program and Operating costs. The slight two percent increase from the previous year is attributed to an increase in operating cost. The budget continues to reflect the agency’s efforts to streamline operations and maintain levels of service of protecting public health and the environment.
