As partners of the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS), OCSD and the Orange County Water District (OCWD) are partnering yet again to give you a live virtual tour of the two agencies and tell you all about the world’s largest water purification system for indirect potable reuse. The first tour of its kind will be presented by OCSD General Manager Jim Herberg and OCWD General Manager Mike Markus.

The unique experience will highlight the two agencies and describe where the water comes from and how we collect and treat nearly 130 million gallons a day of wastewater before sending it to the GWRS for further purification. The water from the GWRS is ultra-pure and meets all drinking water standards.

A live Q & A session will take place at the end of the presentation.
