City of Los Alamitos
Manhole rehabilitation and replacement work is ongoing on Oak Street during the day. This requires lane closures and parking restrictions to allow enough space for construction.
- When: Ongoing – August 2022
- Where: Oak St. from Sausalito St. to Katella Ave.
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Occasional Saturday work may be required.

City of Seal Beach
Nightwork has begun on Old Ranch Pkwy. in the City of Seal Beach. This work consists of line cleaning to remove debris buildup from the pipe and in preparation for manhole rehabilitation. This activity is done at night when sewer flows are low. Once this work is completed, manhole rehabilitation efforts will commence during daytime hours.
- When: July 31 – mid August
- Work Hours: Weekdays, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Project Description
OC San is rehabilitating two parallel sewers on north and southbound Seal Beach Blvd./ Los Alamitos Blvd., and along Katella Avenue, Oak Street, and Lexington Drive in the cities of Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. The work consists of removing calcium buildup at various pipe joints and injecting chemical grout to strengthen the pipe. Rehabilitation and/or replacement of over 70 manholes will also take place.
