Manhole rehabilitation is starting in the City of Seal Beach. Work will consist of opening the manholes to insert a new liner which will extend the life of the manhole.

  • Seal Beach Blvd. from Rossmoor Center Way heading southbound to Towne Center Drive
    • Sunday, April 10 – Thursday, April 14*
    • Nightwork, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
  • Old Ranch Parkway from Lampson Avenue heading southbound and ending right before the I-405 Northbound ramp entrance.
    • Monday, April 18 – Friday, April 22
    • Daywork, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Manhole rehabilitation work will also take place in the City of Los Alamitos in two separate areas.

  • Intersection of Katella Avenue and Los Alamitos Boulevard
    • Sunday, April 17 – Tuesday, April 19*
    • Night work, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
  • Lexington Drive from Corporate Center Drive heading southbound to Katella Avenue
    • Monday, April 18 – Tuesday, April 19*
    • Night work, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Nightwork is ongoing for line cleaning and chemical grouting. Southbound Los Alamitos Boulevard from Katella Avenue into Seal Beach.

  • Ongoing – May 2022*
  • Sunday – Thursday, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Please allow enough time to reach your destination and follow all posted traffic signs.  

*Dates and times are subject to change due to operational factors or inclement weather.

 What to Expect:

  • Periodic traffic delays as a result of lane reductions and turn restrictions
  • Increased noise level
  • Lane closures
  • Certain bus stops along the route may be affected, please watch for posted signs and visit www.OCTA.net for details

As a reminder, this project is cleaning the existing sewer line, reinforcing the pipe joints with chemical grout, and repairing/rehabilitating/replacing the manholes. Further details about the project can be found in the fact sheet.
