This project will rehabilitate the existing Newport Force Main located on Coast Highway between Dover Drive and the OCSD Bitter Point Pump Station, located approximately 1/4 mile west of Superior Avenue.  The Newport Force Main is made of two sewer lines, both of which will be rehabilitated as part of this construction project. 

On July 11, 2014, OCSD met with members of the Mariner’s Mile Business Association.  A meeting was held  previously a couple of weeks ago to discuss the construction project.   The Association provided input, ideas and requests to consider.  The purpose of the follow up meeting was to address the items brought forward by the Association and to provide an opportunity to provide information on any other questions regarding the project.

The Newport Force Main Project spans along Coast Highway from Dover Drive and our Bitter Point Pump Station.  The presentation does not discuss the entire length of the project, and focuses primarily on the Mariner’s Mile, between Newport Boulevard and Dover Drive.
