Mike Dorman is OC San’s new Director of Engineering, replacing recently retired Kathy Millea.

As the Director of Engineering, Mr. Dorman will manage the planning, design, construction, inspection, and electrical & control system elements of the Capital Improvement Program. He will also oversee the project management aspect of the entire program.

Mr. Dorman has been with OC San for 13 years, most recently as Engineering Manager overseeing the Design division ensuring projects are designed to be reliable, maintainable, and operable in accordance with engineering standards and codes, overseeing commissioning during construction, and programing and maintaining the control systems for collections and treatment plants.

Prior to joining OC San, he worked as a consultant designing and technically overseeing electrical, instrumentation, and programming projects for water, wastewater, and infrastructure facilities.

“Mike has a great deal of experience that is well suited to lead the Engineering Department at OC San,” stated Rob Thompson, OC San General Manager. “I am looking forward to working hand and hand with him on our Capital Improvement Program and to have him as a member of our executive management team.”

Mr. Dorman is a registered Electrical engineer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.
