New Maintenance Manager for OCSD
Don Stokes was recently promoted to Maintenance Manager for the Collections Facilities Division. Don has over fourteen years of maintenance experience, including six years in supervision. He is a certified Total Productive Maintenance Manager, an alumni of Cal State Fullerton’s Leadership Development Program for Public Agencies, and he holds a Grade IV CWEA Electrical/Instrumentation Technologist certification, a Grade IV CWEA Collection System Maintenance certification, and is a Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP). Most recently, Don served as the Maintenance Superintendent for OCSD at Plant No. 2 in Huntington Beach. Additionally, he has worked at OCSD as a Maintenance Supervisor, an Instrumentation Technician II, and an Electrical Technician II. Don holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and an associate’s degree in Electrical Technology.
In his new role Don will manage the maintenance of the 15 pump stations and 396 miles of pipe throughout our service area.
Don spends his free time with his family, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors, and is also involved in multiple advisory committees. Congratulations Don!
