OCSD projects are safely constructed and fully inspected to engineering standards to make sure they are safe, reliable, and meet stakeholder needs. Post video footage of the sewer pipe after rehabilitation work on Newport Boulevard between Coast Highway and Short Street showed a section of pipe not meeting the quality of OCSD’s standards and will need to be replaced. Project completion is extended to mid-December to make the necessary replacement.
