The Orange County Sanitation District has appointed Jennifer Cabral as the new Director of Communications, leading the newly established Communications Department. Ms. Cabral, who has over 20 years of experience, will oversee a team of 15 managing various functions including public affairs, community relations, and media relations. She previously served as OC San’s Administration Manager and developed key outreach programs, including the Construction Outreach Program for OC San’s $3 billion Capital Improvement Program.

Ms. Cabral holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from California State University Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University Fullerton. She was awarded the California Association of Public Information Officials 2022 Paul B. Clark Achievement Award for her leadership in the communications field
