Construction on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project is currently on hold as we work on procuring materials and scheduling efforts to complete the emergency repair work that occurred in April on Orange Avenue and Knott Avenue in the City of Anaheim. A pipeline blockage discovered in our regional sewer pipe required immediate action from OC San, affecting approximately 300 feet of the pipe. Our team swiftly addressed the situation, ensuring continuous service to the surrounding community. However, construction crews will be performing some short-term repair work from now until the overall repair work is scheduled to finalize essential repairs and secure the pipe’s long-term reliability. The repair work is scheduled to occur later this summer.

Project Description

Manholes and sections of sewer pipeline on Western Avenue and Orange Avenue in the Cities of Buena Park, Anaheim, and Cypress will be rehabilitated to extend their service life. OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map. Small segments of pipe will also be replaced.
