LOCATION: Western Ave. between Tyler Ave. to Del Monte Dr.
Work on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project will be taking a pause for Thanksgiving from Wednesday, November 22 to Friday, November 24. Construction work will resume the following week on Monday. Rehabilitation work is currently being performed that includes excavation, shoring installation, and dewatering. To ensure continuous service for the community a bypass system is being used to redirect the sewer flow.
Night Work
- When: Ongoing – Winter 2024*
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday; 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Day Work
- When: Ongoing – Winter 2023*
- Work Hours: Occasional Saturdays; 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Project Description
Manholes and sections of sewer pipeline on Western Avenue and Orange Avenue in the Cities of Buena Park, Anaheim, and Cypress will be rehabilitated to extend their service life. OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map. Small segments of pipe will also be replaced.
