LOCATION: Orange Ave. between Valley View St. and Holder St.

Due to the rainy weather over the weekend, the slurry seal work was not completed and requires one additional day of work. This work will be done along a portion of the road on Orange Ave. Due to nature of the work and material, there will be no parking along the work area until everything is completed.

  • When: Thursday, October 5*
  • Work Hours: Thursday – Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Impacts: Lane reductions and parking restrictions along work area.

City of Anaheim

LOCATION: Western Ave. between Tyler Ave. to Del Monte Dr.

Construction continues on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project. The rehabilitation process involves excavation, shoring installation, and dewatering, to ensure the safety of the workers. For this project, a bypass system is being set up to redirect the sewer flow, ensuring continuous service for the community.

Night Work

  • When: Week of 9/18 – Mid-November 2023*
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday; 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Day Work

  • When: Ongoing – Fall 2023*
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. – 9 p.m., Occasional Saturdays

LOCATION: Orange Avenue and Western Ave.

Paving will take place along Orange Ave. in the City of Anaheim. To minimize community impact, OC San has strategically chosen Monday, October 9, a student-free day, to carry out the paving near the high school.

Both north and southbound travel on Western Ave. will be limited at Orange Ave. Additionally, east/west crosswalks will experience restrictions. To navigate these changes, detours will be clearly marked. We urge residents and commuters to pay close attention to the signs and consider alternative routes to reach their destinations efficiently. Your cooperation is appreciated as we conclude this essential project.

* Paving previously scheduled for Western Ave. and Knott Ave. will now be performed by the City of Anaheim at a later date.
