The sewer pipeline crossing under the 405 freeway was recently rehabilitated, using the cured-in -place pipe (CIPP) method. Remaining work includes rehabilitation and replacing a manhole frame and cover. Â
- When:Â Â Anticipated to occur week of July 12 for approximately 1 week.Â
- Hours:Â Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Impacts: Â
- Increase in activity and noise levels.
- Traffic control and reduced lanes to safely access the manhole.

Project Description
This project will rehabiliate approximately 4 miles of the regional sewer pipeline that runs along the I-405 freeway in the City of Costa Mesa. Project elements include the rehabilitation of gravity sewer pipelines, manhole structure rehabilitation, and manhole access improvements. The project also includes the rehabilitation of sewer pipelines that cross under the I-405 freeway.Â
