Board Stipends
Board members are compensated $300.00 per meeting. They may be compensated for up to six meetings a month (the average per month is 2.) The Chair may be compensated for up to ten meetings per month. They receive no health insurance benefits.
Class & Compensation
The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) has comprehensive Classification and Compensation programs. The classification program at OC San is traditional in nature with most classifications grouped into job families. Each job has a classification specification. We compare our salaries with other similar agencies to keep our compensation in check.
