Reclamation Plant No. 2

OC San Plant No. 2 in Huntington Beach - CIP Banner

OC San plans to invest over $2.9-billion in our infrastructure over the next 10 years as part of our current Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The CIP is focusing on upgrading, replacing, and constructing new facilities to continue the advanced wastewater treatment process, and will allow for greater water recycling to ensure a reliable local water supply.

Primary Treatment Replacement

There are also a number of smaller projects in construction that focus on items like upgrading the trickling filter odor control system, rehabilitating digester pumps, and water valve support upgrades. These smaller projects extend the life of the existing treatment facilities and the time between major rehabilitations. The adjustments, improvements, and/or minor repairs (outside of regular maintenance) allow our system to continue operating at optimal levels.
