Street restoration work on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project started last week. Due to weather and operational delays, an updated schedule is outlined below. This work is spread over the course of several days to minimize traffic impacts as much as possible. For your safety, please follow all posted traffic signs and plan on taking alternate routes, if possible, to avoid traffic.

Street Restoration along Lincoln Ave.

• When: Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. – Saturday, March 16 at 9 p.m.
• Where: Lincoln Ave. between Westchester and Grand Ave.
• Impacts:
  • A full closure will occur from Grand Ave. going westbound towards Western Ave.
  • A partial closure will also be taking place from Westchester Dr. going towards Western Ave.
  • Use alternate bus routes for duration of work.
  • Access to businesses will remain open during the closures.
  • Thru traffic access will remain along Western Ave with limited lanes
  • There will be no right turn access from Polk Ave. and Tyler Ave onto Western Ave.

Alleyway between Polk Ave. and Lincoln Ave. 

• When: Monday, March 18 from 8:30 a.m. to Tuesday, March 19 at 12 p.m.
• Where: Alleyway between Lincoln Ave and Polk Ave on Western Ave.
• Impacts: House driveways will not be accessible from the alley side entrances along the work area for the duration of the work.
  • Townhome parking and entrances will remain accessible.
